It is with sadness to report the death of Sir Knight Art Klobucar on Tuesday following a brief illness.
His funeral will be on Monday, Jan. 9, at 11 a.m. at Sacred Heart Church in New Smyrna Beach.
SK Art was Grand Knight of Father Downey Council 4934 at Sacred Heart, earning Star Council recognition during his first term. He was a Trustee at Our Lady of Hope Assembly 2794, and a very active member of the Fourth Degree Color Corps. Art was a familiar face at call-outs throughout our region, assisting at events as far away as St. Augustine and Orlando.

2.6.23 Update My sick son has been in the hospital since Dec 23rd! It was scary, but we moved to Plan B and will wait for the next Bone Marrow test in 23-25 days! The 1st drug did not clear the cancer out of the bone marrow after treatment from New Year's Eve to the end of January! Stem Cell Transplant failed after 67 days so hoping for a miracle! My oldest son has been working with top Expert doctors and will continue in case this powerful drug does not work out!
