Fourth Degree Exemplification Instructions
The next live exemplification for the Florida District of the De Soto Province will be on Saturday, July 27, 2024, at:
St. Gabriel Church, 731 N. Ocean Blvd., Pompano Beach, FL
We are proud to announce that the honoree will be the Rev. Dominick O’Dwyer
Fourth Degree Exemplification Instructions ( note the change in the schedule)
The ceremony will start at noon. There will also be a ladies’ tea at noon. The Exemplification opens with registration at 9:30 a.m. The antechamber will open where candidates will go for instructions plus the recitation of the Patriotic Rosary.
The parade of candidates into the chamber will begin from 12:15- 2 pm, followed by the Exemplification. The Ladies' Tea will be held at 12:15.
After the Exemplification, there will be a Social Hour for the Candidates and guests from 2:20-3:30 pm, Followed by Mass. the Sacrament of the Sick will be available at the back of the Church, The Exemplification Banquet will start at 6 pm..
The candidate fee is $90, including the banquet, and the fee for a Priest is $50. The banquet fee for family, friends, and observers is $50. The ladies’ tea will be $10.
Assemblies are required to send in a downloaded copy of the registration form (please do not write on the original), degree certificate, signed dress code letter, signed Form 4 (all four copies for each candidate), and check payable to the Master. Forms are available on the Florida State website.
Please note the dress code for the exemplification. While tuxedos are no longer mandatory, candidates must sign the dress code paper, and wear a dark suit (not brown!) and black dress shoes. Candidates are encouraged to write the number of their new assembly on the back of their KofC membership card.

Everyone is invited to support our Candidates and Honoree by purchasing an ad in the Exemplification program. The cost of a full-page ad is only $250 and will include your Assembly or Council name, number, current officers, and your message. We also have pre-made pages for your convenience. Half-page ads cost $150. The deadline is Wednesday, July 17.

_____ Assembly spreadsheet includes candidates ($90 includes banquet); $45 for Priests; spouse and guests ($50 for banquet, $10 for ladies’ tea), $50 for Sir Knights attending banquet.
_____ Assembly check made out to John O’Toole, Master.
_____ Signed dress code letter for each candidate.
_____ Candidate Certificate (to be signed by the Master).
