Brother Knight/SK Peter Morin, age 42, has recently been diagnosed with Stage 4 Colon Cancer. The Knights of Columbus St. Thomas More Council 7121 have created the https://www.gofundme.com/f/peter-morin-family-fund page in support of Peter and his wife Helen and their children Luciana (age 12) and Emanuel (age 7).
Peter has been the Director of Music and Liturgy at St. Anastasia Catholic Church since 2011 and an accomplished pianist and organist for many many years. He is often accompanied by his wife Helen, a classical violinist and music teacher at RB Hunt Elementary School in St. Augustine. Peter has been an active 4th Degree member since 2007 and an important part of the faith life of this community. The council, choir, and parish are conduction rosary services almost daily for the Morin family.
Peter and Helen have dedicated their lives to ministry and to the music community here in St. Augustine, coordinating an annual music series that has been enjoyed not only by those in the parish but in and around St. Augustine as well. The Morin's are a family of strong faith and their hard work, dedication, leadership and cheerfulness at St. Anastasia has everyone asking “what can we do to help?” Council 7121 is managing the GoFundMe page ito ease their minds and help them financially, as there will likely be medical bills and other expenses as Peter undergoes bi-weekly chemotherapy treatments at Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville. Also see the https://www.caringbridge.org/visit/petermorin1 page for prayer hours, messages, and tributes.

Worthy Brothers, I would like to ask you pray to Father Michael McGivney that he may intercede for Clinton Carbonneau in his serious time of need, and pray for Father McGivney's cause that it may continue to move forward with favorable reports.
Prayer for the Canonization of Blessed Michael McGivney Founder of the Knights of Columbus
God, our Father, protector of the poor and defender of the widow and orphan, you called your priest, Blessed Michael McGivney, to be an apostle of Christian family life and to lead the young to the generous service of their neighbor. Through the example of his life and virtue, may we follow your Son, Jesus Christ, more closely, fulfilling his commandment of charity and building up his Body which is the Church. Let the inspiration of your servant prompt us to greater confidence in your love so that we may continue his work of caring for the needy and the outcast. We humbly ask that you glorify Blessed Michael McGivney on earth according to the design of your holy will. Through his intercession, grant the favor I now present:
Please Cure my Nephew, Clinton Carbonneau, and raise him up out of his ECMO coma state in the Name of Jesus. Amen.
Our Father, Hail Mary, Glory be to the Father
