Council 10055, San Marcelino Champagnat, celebrated a Vigil Mass on Friday, October 30th with the St. Brendan community in celebration of Blessed Michael McGivney’s beatification. The activity began in earnest when a bilingual Novena was conducted virtually beginning on Thursday, October 22nd. The last day of the Novena was prayed at the end of the vigil mass since it coincided with the chronology.
Members of the council, their spouses and parishioners were given the cards with the prayer for the cannonization of Blessed McGivney along the "I am a Knight" card. Snippets of his life read by the Grand Knight were part of the ceremony. Social distancing was maintained throughout except for the brief period when the group picture was taken.

El Consejo 10055, San Marcelino Champagnat, celebró una misa de vigilia el viernes 30 de octubre con la comunidad de San Brendan en celebración de la beatificación del Padre Michael McGivney. La actividad comenzó en serio cuando se realizó una Novena bilingüe virtual a partir del jueves 22 de octubre. El último día de la Novena se rezó al final de la misa de vigilia ya que coincidió con la cronología.
