2024 Mid-Year Meeting DD Compensation

Supreme will compensate District Deputies for the following expenses associated with the Organizational and Mid-Year Meetings

   a. Round trip mileage and tolls. Receipts required for tolls, but not for mileage.

   b. One or two nights for hotel, depending on authorization received by the State Deputy from Supreme. NOTE: Compensation will not be greater than the group rate negotiated by the Florida State Council at the hotel meeting place, which is $139 plus tax per night for the 2024 Mid-Year Meeting. Receipt is required.

   c. Up to two meals per day. These are for your own meals; there will be no compensation of meal expenses for spouses or group meals. Receipts are required. There are on-site facilities for meals during the meeting period.

   d. Parking. Receipts required. The hotel will charge $19 per night for overnight self-parking and $15 per day for event day self-parking, plus applicable taxes.

   d. Two days of spouse per diem at $35 per day. Receipt not required, but you must register for the Ladies functions on Friday and Saturday to claim the per diem.

Expense reimbursement requests for the Mid-Year Meeting must be recorded on Supreme Form 267DD and submitted electronically to the State Executive Administrator (ExecutiveAdministrator@floridakofc.org) no later than Sunday, December 22, 2024. Paper copies will not be accepted. Receipts should be emailed as a separate pdf file to the same address. Please note that, due to the vacation period for employees of the Supreme Council, you may not get paid until some time in January. The earlier you can submit your forms, the better.

Supreme will not compensate District Wardens for attendance at the Mid-Year meeting. If the State Deputy has approved a District Warden to attend in place of the District Deputy, the Florida State Council will provide compensation limited to $50 per diem per day for two days and round-trip mileage at 25 cents per mile.
