We are so excited to see everyone this year at the Org meeting! Here is a little information to help you prepare, as we know the men don’t always relay the information we need.
Our fun will start on Friday afternoon. We will meet in the Ladies Gathering Room for a fun craft, making new friends- and if time permits- Bingo. After dinner (on your own), we will meet again in the Ladies Gathering Room for a yummy Dessert Bar, more socializing and Bingo- if anyone is in the mood to play. All Ladies signed up for the weekend are welcome and encouraged to come.
On Saturday afternoon- we will have the Ladies Luncheon. This year it will be a delicious buffet and the theme is Red, White and Blue. Our guest speaker will be Joe McGivney from The Guest House. https://guesthouselegacy.org/ We hope to raise some money to help the Guest House by having a raffle and a 50/50 drawing. If you would like to participate- please make sure to bring some cash with you!
It is not required- but if you would like to donate a basket for our raffle, it is appreciated. You can make up your own theme- or have no theme, at all. Movie night, beach, wine party, etc. The possibilities are endless. All money raised will go to The Guest House. You can drop off baskets any time the Ladies Gathering Room is open.
We do get a lot of questions from ladies about what to wear- don’t stress. When in doubt- Church/business appropriate is always a great way to go! If you are one who likes a little fun- dressing with the theme at the luncheon is also acceptable, as long as it is in good taste. Please note that the meeting rooms are usually cold- so bring a sweater.
If your husband is one that always asks you what he needs to wear: Friday they should be wearing State or Council Polos with dress slacks and on Saturday they should be in black suit jackets with gray slacks with a KofC State tie.
