Mike Navarro Sr is GK of 13153 Vero Beach. His son Michael Jr is a PGK of a council in New Paltz NY. Michael Jr who is in his 30's has MS and now has to undergo surgery to remove blockages. Having MS is likely a contributing cause to these blockages and certainly having MS raises risk factors associated with any surgery. Mike Sr is requesting prayers for his son's successful surgery and recovery.

Brother Knights, please join us in prayer for Ryan Farinas. Maureen and Deacon Hank Farinas' son is fighting for his life. (Deacon Hank is with St. Elizabeth Ann Seton parish, Council 13047.) During surgery, it was discovered that he has a rare cancer and it's at stage 4. We are told that Ryan has a very short time left before he will be called home. Saturday, January 23rd, Ryan was moved to Hospice.
