VFCG Mass (Veterans Weekend)
The VFCG Veterans Day mass is being held at 10 AM on 8 Nov at St Mary Magdelen Church in Altamonte Springs. As usual, I am trying to gather names as to who will be attending the event in order to give us an idea of how many seats to save.
We are still using the Volunteer Sign-Up tool to help us gather names in that regard. I recall some of you were concerned that you were being asked to volunteer for a task (which was the original purpose by the creators of the tool). That is not the case. We are only using the tool to gather names and number of attendees. I took a screenshot of the screen you will see when you click the link below.
To sign up, once you are in the tool, just click the green arrow on the right and you can fill in your name. If you will be accompanied by someone, you can either put a "2" next to your name or just include his/her name next to your own like I have below. This is the screen you will see:
That's all there is to it.
So, you just need to click the link below which will take you to the tool to leave your names and contact info.
Feel free to forward this to anyone you might think would like to attend. We do not have a comprehensive list of all veterans in the parish, for example, so if you know of any, please let them know about this event.
