16th Annual Family Charity Golf Outing
The Corpus Christi Knights of Columbus Council 14132 will tee it up for a good cause, when the Council holds its 16th annual
Family Golf Outing for Charity
Scheduled for an 8:30a.m. shotgun start on Saturday, April 15th at the Celebration Golf Club, the event will feature a four-
player scramble best ball format. The cost is $110 a person and includes 18 holes of golf, cart, range balls and a buffet lunch.
In addition, prizes will also be awarded for the longest drive, closest to the pin and longest putt, for men and women.
The annual event is the Vouncil primary fund raiser to support local charities. Through the efforts of this outing, the Knights have donated nearly $100,000, that has been shared between several worthy charities. Past beneficiaries have included: ACS Relay for Life, Osceola Meals on Wheels, Bishop Grady Village, Give Kids Safe Shelter, Coats for Kids, JMJ Life Center, Children’s Advocacy Group. Fairways for Warriors, Help Now Osceola, Second Harvest Food Bank, KofC Wheelchairs, St. Vincent de Paul Society, Habitat for Humanity, Special Olympics and Tunnel to Towers.
