NASCAR Coke Free 400 and Special Olympics Presentation

ANY MEMBER AND COUNCIL is invited to an information meeting.  The Zoom invitation will be distributed through the RAs and DDs.

The State Special Olympics Chairman, State Life Director, representatives of the Daytona Race Track and Special Olytmpics will be present to provide councils and members information on being able to participate in:

The Coke Zero Sugar 400 race, accommodations at the race and events before, during and after the race.

Hosting a Race Viewing at the local council, district or regional level.  Proceeds raised will be donated at the local SO chapter level.

Discussion on working with the local SO Chapter for these events and throughout the fraternal year.

Preview of the needs and potential Knight assistance for the SO USA Games in 2022.

This is a great opportunity for councils to understand what they can do over the course of this fraternal year to have a successful program involving Special Olympics.

The meeting will take less than 1 hour.  The meeting will also be posted on the State Website for viewing after the event, for those unable to attend the meeting.
