Due to concerns over potential exposure to the virus, in particular, participation in large group activities, involving individuals of all ages and from different parts of the state, we have decided to postpone our scheduled State Basketball Free Throw Competition event. The annual event scheduled for Saturday March 14, 2020 at the Melbourne Central Catholic High School, Melbourne, Florida will be rescheduled for a time most likely after temperatures have risen and the virus has run its course. We will continue to monitor governmental agencies and will only reschedule when the appropriate health organizations have indicated that the risk is within acceptable limits.
We are sorry that this difficult decision had to be made, however, we believe that it is in the best interest of all participants, their families and our volunteers. We appreciate everyone's understanding, we will reschedule the event as soon as we determine it safe to do so.
