The Knights Corner

In our constant quest to be “noticed” by potential new Brothers in our Parish, with the obvious goal of increasing membership, our council was inspired to petition our Pastor for a small table of which we could promote our Council’s Monthly awards for Knight of the Month and Family of the Month. Father Ralph of St. Charles, whom has always been a great supporter of our Council, was gracious in allowing us permanent space to create our Knights Corner. This small area contains a digital frame, displaying our Council events and Brothers having fun throughout the year. Next to that are the framed certificates for both Family and Knight of the month, and we have recently added a large framed plaque (had our printer produce a wonderful picture that has the look of an actual plaque at a fraction of the cost) which shows the award winners over the past year.
This constant display shows our parishioners the activities and events that make membership worthwhile, and at the same time pushes the recognition of our awards to a much higher level. It feels special to our Brothers whom are awarded each month and we hope that special feeling will infect many new members to come at St. Charles Borromeo Parish.
